Rodrigo Moreno

Rodrigo Moreno (* 1972 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine screenwriter and film director.

Rodrigo Moreno studied film directing at the film school in Buenos Aires. In 1993 he made his first short film . After graduating, he has been teaching screenwriting and directing at the Buenos Aires Film School since 1996. His first two feature films were made in 1998 ( Mala época ) and 2002 ( El descanso ) as a joint production with other Argentinian directors. His first own feature film was El Custodio - The Bodyguard in 2006, which was invited to the 2006 Berlinale competition and was awarded the Alfred Bauer Prize there. The film was shown at numerous other festivals and received several awards. In 2007 the Argentine television film La señal was made . In 2011 he received another invitation to the Berlinale competition for his second feature film Un Mundo Misterioso .
