Roger Award
The Roger Award is a prize for the worst transnational corporation based in New Zealand . It is named after the country's former Treasury Secretary Sir Roger Douglas .

The Roger is donated by two left-wing organizations, Campaign Against Foreign Control of Aotearoa, and GATT Watchdog. The judges are independent but are typically chosen by left-wing intellectuals and New Zealand activists.
Selection criteria
The judges will select the winner based on four criteria:
- Economic dominance - monopolies, racketeering, tax tricks, cultural imperialism
- People - unemployment, importance of women, importance of children, abuse of workers / conditions, health and safety of workers and the general public, cultural imperialism
- Environment - environmental degradation, abuse of animals
- Political influenceability - cultural imperialism, ideological crusades
Any corporation that wins in three categories will be inducted into the Hall of Shame and will not be eligible to participate in future Roger Awards.
