The Rohnke Crests are two approximately 1,400 m high and parallel mountain ridges on the Antarctic Ross Island . They rise up from the ice sheet southeast of Mount Terror and lie east of the head end of Eastwind Glacier and 6.5 km northeast of Conical Hill .
The formation is named after the American Rear Admiral Oscar C. Rohnke (1908-1997), who was the captain of the icebreaker USCGC Eastwind during the first Operation Deep Freeze (1955-1956) .
