Rojah Phad Full is a German dancehall singer from Bayreuth .

biography

At the age of 13 he began to write texts in German. He initially had experience with rap and created some unpublished albums in-house. He discovered, due to the influence of his friends, his love for reggae and dancehall . From 2005 he only dealt with the two Jamaican music genres. In 2006 he released his first EP, the Toast EP . This is still strongly influenced by hip-hop , furthermore he already shows the talent and feeling for toasting texts. In the same year he joined the Bayreuth sound system Soundselectors to gain experience as an MC . In 2007 two more projects followed: Michi Bomboclaat EP and Kleine Sorge LP . In 2008 he left Soundselectors and switched to the sound system known throughout Germany: Hurricane Sound .

In 2009 the Hürther dancehall record label Rootdown Records became aware of him and Rojah was hired by Nosliw to support the Heiss & Laut tour . In 2010 he released the album Wer Zum? Together with his label colleague Slonesta . at Rootdown Records.

In 2012 he released his first solo album Alles Geht Phad . Rojah Phad Full is a nod to Red Bull vodka , and according to him, the name comes from his creativity in playing with words rather than a taste for alcohol.

Rojah Phad Full is considered the top young artist in the German-speaking reggae and dancehall area. He was often voted as Top 5 Newcomer and Top 5 National Artist by the readers of the popular scene magazine RIDDIM!
