Pit Hartling (born September 25, 1976 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German magician and specialist book author.

Life

Pit Hartling studied literature, linguistics, psychology and philosophy at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main for seven semesters before turning his art into his main profession.

He is a member and laureate of the Magical Circle of Germany and a member of the Escuela Magica de Madrid.

Since 1992 he has appeared at congresses and events and leads specialist seminars on the art of magic. In 1995 he was a co-founder of the German magic and comedy ensemble "Die Fertigen Finger". In 2000 he co-founded the Magic Monday Show in Frankfurt am Main. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Escuela Magica de Madrid around Juan Tamariz .

Pit Hartling published his own tricks and theoretical articles in specialist journals in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Spain, England, Holland, France and the USA.

The American trade magazine MAGIC, the Spanish trade magazine El Manuscrito and the German magazine " Magische Welt " each devoted a cover story to Pit Hartling. In 1997 Pit Hartling contributed material to the seminar booklet for Finished Fingers (“7 Close-Up”). In the same year was the publication of the book of the finished fingers ("The Book").
