Rokas Flick ( lit.Rokas Flikas , until 1989 Rokas Alvydas Liaukonis ; born August 16, 1936 in Veisiejai ) is a Lithuanian economist and politician , Vice Minister of Energy.

Life

His mother was German. Her parents lived in the Memel region .

In 1959 Liaukionis graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas with a degree in archeology and in 1966 industrial economics . From 1970 to 1974 he studied at the I. Gubkin Institute in Moscow . In 1975 he received his doctorate on the optimization of the economic efficiency of gasification systems (on the topic of "Pabaltijo respublikų miestų dujofikavimo sistemų optimizavimo ekonominis efektyvumas") and in 1984 he completed his habilitation (on the topic of "Miesto dujų tiekimų sistemų sistemų optimizavimas tikimybinio neap").

From 1986 to 1990 he taught at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas , from 1987 as a professor . From April 18, 1990 to 1991, he was Deputy Minister at the Lithuanian Ministry of Energy , appointed by Prime Minister Kazimira Prunskienė . From 1995 he headed a R. Flick consulting company in Klaipėda . Since 2009 he has been a member of the Lietuvos taikomųjų mokslų akademija .
