Roland Appel (musician)
Roland Appel is a German DJ and musician .
Life
In 1995 Appel founded the band Fauna Flash together with Christian Prommer . The debut single Butterfly Catcher was released on Compost Records in the same year . The debut album Aquarius followed in 1997. Also in 1997, Appel and Prommer founded the music project Trüby Trio together with Rainer Trüby .
Since 2000, Appel and Prommer have been producing together with Peter Kruder as Voom: Voom .
Since 2007, Appel has published various singles on Sonar Kollektiv , to which the singer Araba Walton taxed the vocals several times . In 2008, Appel's solo debut album Talk To Your Angel was released . In 2011 he switched to the Poker Flat Recordings label .
He composed the music for the 2011 film Romeos .
He is resident DJ in the Munich club Blitz and plays regularly at the Traumfänger Open Air Festival.
