Fauna Flash consisting of the DJs Christian Prommer and Roland Appel is known for jazzy drum and bass .

They released their first record "Butterfly Catcher" in 1995 on Compost Records , and later other titles such as "Aquarius" (1997) and "Fusion" (2001).

They also wrote music for television programs, including the trailer for Hattrick ( DSF ) and the background music for Liebe Sünde (Pro Sieben).

Fauna Flash also work on joint projects with other musicians, for example from 1997 with Rainer Trüby as the Trüby Trio or from 2000 with Peter Kruder as Voom: Voom .
