Compost Records is a Munich independent label that was founded in 1994 by Michael Reinboth . It publishes lounge and other electronic music worldwide .

Compost is internationally recognized as one of the most important German labels for lounge, downbeat and trip-hop .

In addition to many albums and remix releases, Compost Records' musical repertoire also includes many compilations such as Future Sounds of Jazz - Vol. 1–10 , Glücklich 1–5, compiled by Rainer Trüby with her exemplary tracks for the development of Brasil Fusion , the Ennio Morricone Remix Project , soul research and compilations such as Party-Keller 1 & 2 , the Elaste series and the Black Label compilations.
