The title-culture magazine (proper spelling TITLE culture magazine , shortly TITLE ) is a German online magazine for literature and culture .

history

The culture magazine Titel was founded in March 2000 and has been published by Jörg Fuchs since 2013. In addition to film, literature and music reviews, there are also satirical, literary and analytical columns.

The magazine is updated daily: Mondays with articles on fiction , children's and young people's books, Tuesdays with reflections on digital media. Articles on comics are published on Wednesdays, and texts on films and music on Thursdays. Non-fiction and culture books, social topics and art find their place on Fridays. Bittles' Magazine from London is published as a guest column on Saturdays - with articles on electronic music. Cabaret artists like Mathias Tretter are also part of the permanent workforce . In 2010 the magazine was presented in a new layout and nominated for the Grimme Online Award in the information category. The magazine was reissued in 2013 and has been published under the name TITEL Kulturmagazin ever since .

profile

Titel sees itself as being differentiated from an “academic, bourgeois” literary criticism in the national feature sections on the one hand and “superficial book recommendations” on the other.
