Jenny Mensing (born February 26, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German swimmer and European champion. After her training in Wiesbaden , she has been a police commissioner since 2012 . In total, she is now 18 times German champion in various disciplines, eleven of them over 200 m back.

At the German Championships in 2006 she took third place over 100 meters back . In 2008, 2009 and 2019 she was German champion over 200 meters back. On August 12, 2010 she won the bronze medal at the European Swimming Championships 2010 in Budapest over 100 meters back. Three days later, she also took third place with the 4 × 100-meter tier relay.

Jenny Mensing set four German national records in the course of her career. So in the discipline 50 meters back in 28.31 s (2011), over 100 meters back in 59.85s (2012) and over 200 meters back in 2: 08.30 min (2012).

At the European Swimming Championships 2012 in Debrecen she won the gold medal over 100 meters back on May 24, 2012, which was also the 250th German gold medal at the European Championships. On the last day of the European Championships in 2012, she won the gold medal in the 4 × 100 meter relay together with Sarah Poewe , Alexandra Wenk and Britta Steffen . At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, she competed over 200 meters back, among other things.

In 2020, her home club SC Wiesbaden 1911 won the silver medal at the DMS 2020 with her as team leader .
