Anastasia Valerevna Fessikowa ( Russian Анастасия Валерьевна Фесикова , maiden name Sujewa ( Зуева ), scientific. Transliteration Anastasia Zueva Valer'evna * 8. May 1990 in Voskresensk ) is a Russian swimmer .

Career

The first time Fessikova swam into the international field of vision was on February 19, 2008, when she won the Russian swimming championships in St. Petersburg with a new European record.

Almost two months later, at the European Championships in Eindhoven , she won the gold medal over 100 m back and lowered her record by another 23 hundredths. In addition, with a new European record time, she became European champion over 50 m backseat and vice-European champion over the 200 m backseat and with the 4 × 100 m individual relay.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , she competed over the 100 m and 200 m backseat.

In 2013 she married the Russian swimmer Sergei Fessikow .
