Mathias Tretter
Mathias Tretter (born May 19, 1972 in Würzburg ) is a German cabaret artist and author .
Life
After graduating from high school, Mathias Tretter studied English and German in Würzburg , Edinburgh and Heidelberg . The first cabaret texts were written in the care brigade of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (15 months of community service). During her studies, she made her first appearances at the Würzburg Comedy Lounge in the Chambinzky Theater .
Since completing his German studies, Tretter has dedicated himself entirely to cabaret. In between he gave evening courses at the interpreting school in Würzburg, was co-editor of the literary magazine ~ FISCH and worked as a freelance literary critic (including for the Swiss Sunday newspaper and the Titel - Magazin für Literatur und mehr , Karlsruhe). In the Würzburg pub "standard" he was the organizer and moderator of poetry slams and radio play evenings. Since May 2008 he has been co-editor of Titel-Kulturmagazin . In addition to his solo career, he was also part of the First German Compulsory Ensemble from 2004 to 2014 . The trio consisted of Tretter and his colleagues Claus von Wagner and Philipp Weber . From February to March 2016 Mathias Tretter took over the moderation of the TV show Vereinsheim Schwabing from Hannes Ringlstetter .
Mathias Tretter has lived in Leipzig with his wife and children since 2007 .
Cabaret programs
- In 2003 Mathias Tretter made his debut with the stage program Die Brille zur Macht . As "Lorenz Lauer", who is doing his job as a prison librarian because of his resistance to the social system and mass culture, and because of an attack on André Rieu , he lets himself go on everything that politics and related topics give.

- In 2004 the ensemble program Mach 3 was created! of the First German Compulsory Ensemble.
- On February 1, 2006 Germany celebrated his second solo program . A gummy bear premiered in the Würzburg Bockshorn Theater .
- In October 2008 Mathias Tretter presented his third cabaret solo Public Enemy No. 11 .
- From 2009 to 2014 the last tour - program of the First German Forced Ensemble.
- Since 2010 he has been playing the Schottenabend program with Sven Kemmler - two hours with nothing underneath.
- In October 2011 the cabaret artist brought his fourth solo program Mathias Tretter does not want to be your friend on stage. The premiere was celebrated in the Bockshorn Theater in Würzburg.
- From autumn 2014 the artist performed his solo program Selfie . The premiere took place in the Bockshorn Theater in Würzburg.
- In April 2015 premiere with the English language program "Not with a bang but a whimper"
- Since summer 2017 he has been playing his solo program POP
