Roland Gawlik

Roland Gawlik (born September 15, 1944 in Großenhain ) is a German dancer , choreographer , actor and ballet director .

Gawlik joined the newly founded dance theater ensemble of Tom Schilling at the Komische Oper Berlin in 1966 together with Hannelore Bey .

Here he danced all roles as the first solo dancer in Schilling's ballets, including Black Birds (Premiere: September 27, 1975), Swan Lake (1978), Romeo and Juliet (1983), Elective Affinities (1983), Cinderella (1984) and others with Bey and Jutta Germany .
