Jutta Germany
Jutta Angelika Germany (born March 20, 1958 in Bad Freienwalde (Oder) ) is a German prima ballerina and choreographer .
Life
She studied at the State Ballet School in Berlin , at the Waganowa Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg and at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow . She then belonged to the Komische Oper ensemble for many years . At the age of 26, she was awarded the title “Prima Ballerina”, a title that has only been awarded to six dancers in Germany since 1945 and is valid for life. In 2004 she ended her active career as a dancer. Since then she has been working as a dance teacher and choreographer and has her own ballet company.
Jutta Germany was married to the director Peter Vogel for several years and now lives in Bernau near Berlin . She has also appeared in several films as a dancer.
