Roland Gergye (born February 24, 1993 in Kaposvár ) is a Hungarian volleyball player .

Career

Gergye discovered his interest in volleyball in elementary school. He collected various medals in youth competitions. In 2010 he came to Fino Kaposvár. With the club he won the Hungarian Cup in 2011. In 2013, Kaposvár won the national cup and championship double. In addition, Gergye took part in the European league with the Hungarian national team. Subsequently, the outside attacker was committed by the German Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen . In the 2014/15 season he achieved the national double of championship and DVV cup victory with VfB Friedrichshafen. Gergye then moved to France, first to Beauvais Oise UC and in 2016 to Paris Volley .
