Roland Höfling

Roland Höfling (born June 9, 1954 in Seligenstadt ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Höfling began his career in the youth of the Spvgg Seligenstadt. He moved from Sportfreunde Seligenstadt to the second division club FSV Frankfurt in 1977 . There he completed 127 games (2 goals) in four years. Although the class could be kept sporty, the FSV had to relegate to the third-class Oberliga Hessen due to the introduction of the single-track 2nd Bundesliga . The club managed to win the championship and promotion to the second division straight away. Höfling played 21 games (2 goals) this season. There were also twelve DFB Cup appearances during his FSV time.

For professional reasons he then moved to Viktoria Sindlingen, for which he was active in the Oberliga Hessen for three years before ending his career as a player.

He then worked as a trainer in the amateur area in Seligenstadt, Zellhausen and Groß-Umstadt.
