The Sportfreunde Seligenstadt eV are a sports club from Seligenstadt in Hesse .
history
The association was founded in December 1946 and today has over 1200 members. In addition to football, the sports fans also offer other departments such as exercise , archery , gymnastics , ju-jutsu , athletics , tennis and volleyball .
The first soccer team was promoted to the fifth class Hessenliga in 2013 . The withdrawal took place in 2017 for financial reasons. The game was played on the Aschaffenburger Strasse sports complex or in the municipal stadium on Zellhäuser Strasse.
The athletics department has merged with other athletics clubs in the eastern district of Offenbach to form the LG Seligenstadt .
