Roland Peitsch

Roland Peitsch (born September 1, 1949 in Salzkotten ) is a former German football player . The defender was active for Rot-Weiss Essen (3 goals), Hannover 96 (2 goals) and Arminia Bielefeld (4 goals).

Peitsch played for the regional division Rot-Weiss Essen since 1967 , with whom he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 1969 and relegated two years later. In 1973 he moved to Hannover 96, with whom he was relegated from the Bundesliga a year later. With Hanover he succeeded in the immediate rise, but Peitsch switched to Arminia Bielefeld. With Arminia, he rose to the Bundesliga in 1978 and 1980 and from the Bundesliga in 1979. After the Bielefeld were able to secure relegation in the Bundesliga in the 1980/81 season , Peitsch ended his professional career. From then on he played in the Oberliga Westfalen for FC Gütersloh .

Peitsch played 100 times in the Bundesliga and scored nine goals. He scored 28 goals in 150 second division games.
