Roland Pfefferkorn

Roland Pfefferkorn is a French sociologist . He has been teaching as a professor at the University of Strasbourg since January 2009 .

Life

Pfefferkorn is involved in various social initiatives. Together with Alain Bihr , he informs for Ras l'front about the Front National , which is currently gaining disproportionate votes in Alsace. The topics of fascism and right-wing populism are among his fields of work. During the student protests in France in 2009, he showed solidarity as a lecturer together with Paul Dumont with the students of the University of Strasbourg.

research

One of the focal points of research at Pfefferkorn is the study of social inequality in France . Fields of work include the differences between men and women as well as class , gender , generation and race contradictions .

Pfefferkorn publishes regularly in the French magazines: La Marseillaise , Liberation , L'Humanité and Le Monde diplomatique .
