Rolf-Dieter Jungk

Rolf-Dieter Jungk (born August 25, 1961 in Amberg ) is a German lawyer and Bavarian administrative lawyer .

Life

After studying law in Passau , he worked from 1991 to 1999 in the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy . In 1995 he received his doctorate. jur. with a thesis on "The Exercise of Economic Power as Unfair Competition?". From 1999 he worked for E.ON Energie AG for two years on a leave of absence from civil service . In 2001 he then moved to the Bavarian State Chancellery , where he a. a. worked as head of the department "Department for Economic, Scientific and Media Policy". From September 2016 to December 2018 he was the “ Bavarian representative at the federal government ” in Berlin . Since January 2019 he has been head of the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art. Rolf-Dieter Jungk is married and has two children.
