Rolf Füllgraben

Rolf Füllgränke (born April 8, 1929 in Gelsenkirchen ; † November 23, 2008 in Arnsberg ) was a German CDU politician . He was first honorary district administrator of the former Arnsberg district and later of the Hochsauerland district .

Political career

Füllgraben came to Arnsberg as a trainee lawyer in 1956 after the first state examination in law . In the same year he joined the CDU. From 1961 to 1991 he was a member of the district councils of the Arnsberg district and the Hochsauerland district. In 1969 he became chairman of the CDU district parliamentary group. On February 1, 1974, he was elected district administrator of the former Arnsberg district and on May 21, 1975 as the first district administrator of the newly formed Hochsauerland district. He held this office until 1991.

Honors

Rolf Füllgränke was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon and 1st class for his work in the area of ​​local politics . The Hochsauerlandkreis honored him in 1991 with the ring of honor and the title of old district administrator . On May 13, 1992 he received the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia .
