Rolf Herderhorst (born April 28, 1946 in Bremen ) is a Bremen politician ( CDU ) and member of the Bremen parliament .

Education, profession and other

After Herderhorst obtained his secondary school leaving certificate, he continued his training in the public service as a civil servant in general administration. In 1968 he switched to the police service. Since 1976 he has been exempted as a member of the riot police's staff council. He was initially deputy chairman and has been chairman of the staff council since 1984.

Herderhorst was involved in the police union (GdP) and has been a member of the union's executive committee since 1973. He was a member of the supervisory board of Großmarkt Bremen GmbH.

Today Herderhorst is the managing director of the Association of Showmen and Market Merchants Bremen eV .

politics

At the beginning of 1991 Herdehorst joined the CDU. Since October 14, 1991, he has been a member of the Bremen Parliament and since 2006 as a secretary member of the Bremen Citizenship Board. At the end of the electoral term he resigned in 2007. Herderhorst was in the citizenry in the works committees Fidatas Bremen, building and technology management, Performa Nord, in the control committee according to the police law, in the parliamentary control commission, in the legal, judge election, budget and finance, auditing, in represented in the city budget and finance, in the city auditing and constitutional and procedural committees, as well as in the electoral review court.

He has been represented in the Deputation for Home Affairs since 2007 .
