Rolf Stiefel (* 1920 in Koblenz ) is a German radio speaker and parodist .

Life

In 1945 the trained foreign correspondent became a newscaster for Radio Koblenz . Moderation of entertainment programs and roles in radio plays soon followed. In 1946 he moved to the Northwest German Broadcasting Corporation in Cologne, where he worked until the second half of the 1950s. He started his second career as a sought-after parodist in German cabarets and variety shows at the Palladium in Düsseldorf , after which he also played at Willy Schaeffers ' Tingeltangel in Berlin. This was followed by recordings of his repertoire, which included 16 celebrities (including Richard Romanowsky and Adolf Hitler ) at Telefunken in the late 1950s .
