Rolf Weiber

Rolf Weiber (born March 29, 1957 in Bassenheim ) is a German economist and university professor for general business administration.

Rolf Weiber received his doctorate in 1985. rer. pole. with the topic of services as a competitive instrument in the international plant business and received the dissertation award of the Johannes Gutenberg University of the city of Mainz. From 1987 to 1990 he was a systems engineer at IBM Germany. In 1991 he qualified as a professor and since 1992 he has held the chair for general business administration, especially marketing, and since 1997 provisional supervisor of the professorship for marketing II at the University of Trier . He has been Managing Director of the Competence Center E-Business (CEB) at the University of Trier since 2000. In 2000, Weiber was also offered a professorship for business administration at the Technical University of Munich with a focus on sales and distribution.

His research areas are business administration , business-to-business marketing and innovation management.
