Romain Villa (born April 27, 1985 ) is a former French cyclocross and road cyclist .

Athletic career

Romain Villa became French cyclocross champion in 2001 for the first time among the newcomers. The next year he won the junior title and in 2005 in the U23 class. In 2007 he was again U23 champion and won the bronze medal at the Cyclocross World Championships in Hooglede-Gits . In the summer he won a stage of the Alsace Tour on the road . From August 1, 2007 he got a place as a trainee with the French ProTeam Cofidis . In the same year he won a stage of the Tour d'Alsace . In 2011 he ended his cycling career.
