Roman Caspar (born April 16, 1986 in Greifensee ZH ) is a former Swiss handball player . He was a player in the squad of the handball team Wacker Thun .

In the summer of 2006 he moved from handball Grauholz to Thun in the top division SHL / NLA. Casper played ten international matches for Switzerland , in which he scored two goals. He also played numerous games for the junior national teams in Switzerland. He ended his career after the 2017/18 season. Due to numerous injured players, Roman Caspar made a comeback in the 2018/2019 season. He ended this on April 18, 2019 and gave his 2nd resignation.
