Roman Honet
Roman Honet (born October 26, 1974 in Krakow ) is a Polish poet and editor of literary magazines and poetry anthologies. In 2015 he received the Polish literary prize Nagroda Poetycka im. Wisławy Szymborskiej for his volume of poetry świat był mój . His poems are described as "atmospheric, dream-like and hermetic", which often thematize a loss that cannot be further described.
Life
From 1995 to 2008 Roman Honet worked as editor of the literary magazine Studium . In this activity he brought out several volumes of contemporary Polish poetry.
Roman Honet currently teaches creative writing in the literary-artistic studio at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and works as the editor of the online literary magazine LiterackaPolska.pl .
