Roman Sabiński
Roman Zdzisław Jerzy Sabiński (born December 28, 1908 in Lemberg , Austria-Hungary , † June 28, 1978 in Manchester , United Kingdom ) was a Polish ice hockey player .
Career
Roman Sabiński worked as a police officer and later as an accountant. As a hockey player, he played for Pogoń Lwów in his hometown . With the team he won the Polish championship title in the 1932/33 season .
International
For the Polish national ice hockey team Sabiński took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . He had previously won the silver medal with Poland at the 1929 European Championships . He played a total of 35 international matches for his home country.
