Roman Schaad (born July 30, 1993 in Einsiedeln ) is a Swiss cross-country skier .
Career
Schaad, who starts for SC Drusberg, took part in junior races until 2013. He ran his first World Cup race in December 2013 in Davos , which he finished in tenth place in the sprint and thus won his first World Cup points. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , he finished 83rd in the sprint. In February 2014, he finished ninth in the sprint in Dobbiaco , his best World Cup result to date. At the U23 World Championships in 2014 in Val di Fiemme , he won bronze in the sprint. In February 2015, he took 15th place in the team sprint at the 2015 Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun . In March 2016, he became Swiss sprint champion . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , he finished 24th in the sprint.
