Romie Lie

Romie Lie ( pseudonym for Rose-Marie Liechti-Moser ; born June 7, 1954 in Langnau , Emmental ) is a Swiss writer .

Life

Romie Lie grew up in a French-speaking family; She only learned German at school . She trained as a nurse in Biel ; then she stayed for a long time in other European countries and in the United States . She has been a freelance writer since 1981 . In 1983 she took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . She has been running writing workshops since 1990 . Today she lives in Wohlen near Bern .

Romie Lie is a writer of narrative texts and poems .

Romie Lie is a member of the Association " Authors of Switzerland ". In 1986 she was awarded the Swiss Workers' Literature Prize. 2010 Literature Prize of the Canton of Bern.
