Ronald Osvaldo Cerritos Flores (born January 3, 1975 ) is a former professional football player from El Salvador .
societies
Cerritos was best known as a striker during his time in Major League Soccer . In 1997 he made his debut there for the San José Clash, which later became the San José Earthquakes .
He then played for Dallas Burn , DC United , San Jose Earthquakes and Houston Dynamo . After falling out of the Houston squad in mid-2006, he moved back to his home country, where he was active with San Salvador FC .
In early 2008 he returned to the United States. He now plays for Real Maryland FC , which was founded in 2007, in the third-highest division USL Second Division .
National team
Cerritos is his country's national player. Most recently he did the CONCACAF Gold Cup for his country in 2007 .
He played his first international match on November 12, 1995 against Yugoslavia . He scored his first goal for the El Salvador national team in the game against Colombia on May 29, 1999. The game ended 2-1 for El Salvador.
