Susannah Grant

Susannah Grant (born January 4, 1963 in New York ) is an American screenwriter and director .

Life

Grant began her career in 1994 as a screenwriter on the American television series Party of Five . In the same year she worked for Pocahontas for the first time for a movie. 1998 followed forever and ever with Drew Barrymore and Anjelica Huston . In 2000 Grant wrote the screenplay for 28 days with Sandra Bullock and Viggo Mortensen in the lead roles. In the same year she worked for Erin Brockovich with director Steven Soderbergh . For this film, Susannah Grant was nominated for an Oscar and a BAFTA Award , among others . After further scripts for In the Shoes of My Sister and Piggy Wilbur and his friends Grant gave in 2006 with loved ones and make her directorial debut.

Further film and television work followed, including the series A Gifted Man . In 2019 the series Unbelievable was published, in the development of which she was involved and in which she was also involved as a director.
