Ronnie Frans Ghislain Leten (born December 12, 1956 in Beringen ) is a Belgian business manager and was CEO of Atlas Copco AB from June 2009 to April 2017 .

Life

Ronnie Leten graduated in economics at the University of Hasselt in Belgium starting in the year 1979th He began his first professional activity in 1979 at General Biscuits SA , for which he worked until 1985. He then joined the Atlas Copco Group, where he initially took on numerous functions in the Compression Technology division. In 1999 he was appointed head of the Airtec division and, from May 2001, head of the Industrial Air division, before moving back to the Compression Technology division as a member of the board in July 2006. Leten was appointed CEO of Atlas Copco AB on June 1, 2009 , and resigned as President on April 26, 2017 at his own request. His successor at Atlas Copco is Mats Rahmström.

Ronnie Leten is married and has two children.
