Rosalind Baker

Rosalind Baker (* 16th June 1941 in Brisbane as Rosalind Neville ) is an Australian author and relationship expert.

Youth and education

Rosalind Neville was born during World War II. Her father was a flying officer in the Royal Australian Air Force . When Neville was eight, the family moved to Thursday Island , where her father ran a fleet of pearl diving luggers . Neville attended St. Mary's boarding school in Herberton, Queensland , an ancient gold prospecting town in the Atherton Tablelands . She graduated from Clayfield College in Brisbane . She then studied part-time for a Bachelor of Theology for four years , but did not complete this training.

Neville began writing for a suburban newspaper as a columnist on social affairs and women's issues. She then became editor of the Toorak Times in Melbourne . She published several relationship guide books; three of them became bestsellers. In 1991, Neville founded Entre Nous Relationship & Education Consultancy .

Private

Neville married Henry Taylor Smith (deceased) on March 28, 1958, with whom they had a daughter and three sons. On June 4, 2006, she married Thomas Alfred Baker. In 2013 they had twelve grandchildren.
