After her return to Vienna, she was appointed as a lecturer at the University of Applied Arts , where she taught as an assistant professor from 1975 to 2000. She has been running her own studio in Vienna since the mid-1970s. In 1987 and 1988, she took courses at the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle . From 1993 she worked as a designer for Villeroy & Boch . Beginning in 2006, she created not only her original porcelain figures, but also partly monumental sculptures made of glass. In 2005 her work was awarded the Austrian Culture Prize.

Numerous works can be found in museums and private collections in Germany and abroad.
