Rosenberger is an impact crater in the south of the front of the moon , southeast of the Vlacq crater and west of Biela . The rim of the crater is heavily eroded and overlaid by the Rosenberger D secondary crater in the south . The interior is largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German astronomer and mathematician Otto August Rosenberger .
