The Rosenthal Seamount is a deep sea mountain lying at least 2270 meters below sea ​​level . It is located west of Peter I Island in the Antarctic Bellingshausen Sea .

The German research ship Polarstern discovered him in April 1995. The surveyor and glaciologist Heinrich Hinze from the Alfred Wegener Institute named him in 1997 after Albert Rosenthal (1828–1882), director of the German Polar Shipping Company .
