Rosetta Tofano
Rosetta Tofano (born March 5, 1902 in Milan as Rosa Cavallari, † April 7, 1960 in Rome ) was an Italian actress .
life and work
Tofano received her training at La Scala in Milan . In 1923 she married the director, actor and comic artist Sergio Tofano , with whom she was married until the end of her life and had a son, the director and screenwriter Gilberto Tofano . Together with her husband she starred in several films, including the Bonaventura film Cenerentola e il signor Bonaventura , where she was also responsible for the costumes.
Tofano, who suffered from depression and migraines , committed suicide at the age of 58.
