Rosi & Leo are an Austrian duo of folk music .
Career
Rosi Schipflinger, born in the Kitzbühel Alps, has been running the prominent Sonnbergstuben at an altitude of 1180 m since 1968 and over time made a name for herself as a singing landlady. The music producer Jack White , who lives in Kitzbühel, wrote her the song Kitzbühel, mein Augenstern in 1991 , with which she first appeared in public at a stadium opening. In the following years she was also heard and seen on radio and television in Austria and Germany, including in the Musikantenstadl , and made an appearance in a television film with Toni Sailer . At the beginning of 2008 Jack White recorded the song Here in the Mountains with her and her musical companion Leo Jöchl . Two years later, the album Lieder der Berge was released , which was successful in the Austrian charts.
