Roswitha Stenzel (* 1959 ) is a former luge athlete from the GDR .

The physiotherapist Stenzel started for the SC Traktor Oberwiesenthal . Her greatest successes were the two titles at the national championships of the GDR in 1977 in Oberwiesenthal and in 1978 in Oberhof (each before world champion Margit Schumann ) and winning the Junior World Championship in 1978. In the 1977/78 season she won the World Cup race in Hammarstrand and took third place in the overall World Cup.
