The house Rothenseer Straße 4 is a residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt . At times it was considered a listed building .

location

It is located in the Alte Neustadt district of Magdeburg at the southern end of Rothensseer Straße, on the west side of it. To the south of the house is the listed building at Rothenseer Straße 3 .

Architecture and history

The two-storey plastered house was built in the third quarter of the 19th century. The six-axis facade is structured in the style of late classicism . The building is covered with a steep gable roof .

The building is considered to be a typical suburban house from the early Wilhelminian era and, as part of a Wilhelminian style row of houses, is seen as defining the street scene.

In the local register of monuments , the house was listed as a monument under registration number 094 81877 . As part of a review, the monument property was then assessed negatively and the building was removed from the monument register in 2015. The house is currently (as of 2016) empty and in need of renovation.
