The Rothsteiner Felsenfest is a folk festival that is celebrated in the southern Brandenburg municipality of Rothstein on the approx. 560 million year old Rothsteiner Felsen in the Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft nature park .

The four-day events took place on the 2nd weekend in July each year. With over 20,000 visitors a year, it was one of the largest folk festivals in the area for a long time. The festival is organized by the Kultur- und Heimatverein Rothstein eV , which currently has 76 members. In recent years fewer and fewer guests have visited the festival, which is why it has now been reduced to three days and the festival area has also been greatly reduced.

Even before the First World War , people celebrated against the backdrop of the rock. The Rothstein mayor Paul Berthold later had numerous trees planted in the area around the former quarry and the festival became well known during his tenure. In July 2017, the 65th rock festival was celebrated.
