The Rottersdorfer Strasse 3 building is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the northeast side of Rottersdorfer Strasse in Magdeburg's Sudenburg district .

Architecture and history

The two-and-a-half-story eaves building was built at the end of the 19th century. The five-axis facade is designed in the neo-renaissance style and plastered on the ground floor. The upright rectangular window openings are spanned with segmental arches on the ground floor . There is a brick-faced facade on the upper floor. The window openings are surrounded by a plaster frame. The building rests on a high plinth, which was later changed. The building also has a mezzanine floor and is covered with a flat roof.

The entrance door in the eastern half of the facade is still in its original form. It consists of two narrow wings and has a skylight.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 76831 .

As part of the ensemble around the Sankt-Marien-Kirche, the building is considered significant in terms of urban development.
