Rudi Decker

Rudi Decker (* 1955 ) is a German folk actor . He usually embodies the lover in his roles.

Life

At first Rudi Decker played in rather unknown amateur stages, but in 1978 he turned to professional theater. He achieved fame from 1987–1998 with Peter Steiner's Theaterstadl (46 plays), where he participated for over 10 years, and the series 1993–1995 Zum Stanglwirt (40 episodes)

At the beginning of 1998 he separated from Peter Steiner and founded his own theater with Barbara Kutzer and Erich Seyfried . It's called the Bavarian podium . Most of the actors who joined this new "theater troupe" previously worked at Peter Steiner's Theaterstadl, such as Franz A. Huber , Petra Auer or Carmen Marietta . Decker not only plays in the pieces, but has also been writing them himself since Seyfried left in 2005.
