Rudolf Bosse

Rudolf Bosse (born January 31, 1890 in Goslar ; † May 27, 1966 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

The Bosse, who came from a miner's family, initially became a miner himself and rose to become a Reviersteiger in Rammelsberg . In the First World War he was a combatant from 1914 to 1918. After the end of the war he became a functionary of the SPD and in 1922 became the mayor of his hometown Goslar. After the seizure of power in 1933 he was removed from office for political reasons and placed under police supervision. In 1944 he was imprisoned in Sachsenhausen concentration camp .

After the end of the Second World War , he became chairman of the SPD local association in Goslar and a member of the SPD's district board. In 1945 he was already a councilor and later mayor of Goslar. Between February 21, 1946 and November 21, 1946 he was a member of the appointed Braunschweig Landtag and during the first electoral term of the Lower Saxony Landtag he was a member from April 20, 1947 to April 30, 1951.
