Rudolf Eder (soccer player)

Rudolf Eder (born September 22, 1930 ) is a former German soccer player .

Rudolf Eder played during his time at 1. FC Köln under the coaches Hennes Weisweiler (player- coach ) and Péter Szabó . In the three years that he was active there, he was twice West German vice-champion. His teammates included the Cologne goalkeeper legend Fritz Ewert , Josef Röhrig , the 54 world champion Hans Schäfer and Georg Stollenwerk . In 1959 he switched to the Bonn FV for which he laced his football boots until 1961. According to the kicker almanac of 1962, Eder was still in the squad of the Bonn FV in the 2nd League West in the 1961/62 season.
