Rudolf Erberich

Rudolf Erberich (born December 17, 1927 in Lich , Jülich district ; † May 10, 2009 ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

Rudolf Erberich attended elementary school and after completing it he also obtained secondary school leaving certificate. He attended the teacher training college and completed academic courses. Erberich studied at the administration academies in Düsseldorf and Münster and received a diploma in social administration. From 1950 to 1971 he was managing director of the ÖTV district administration Moers. From 1971 he was a member of the board of the Niederrheinische Verkehrsbetriebe AG Moers.

Rudolf Erberich had been a member of the SPD since 1952. In 1965 he became chairman of the Wesel subdistrict (formerly Moers). From 1961 to 1968 he was a member of the board of directors of the Moers local SPD association. From 1956 to 1971 he was a member of the Moers City Council. He was parliamentary group chairman of the SPD in the council from 1961 to 1968 and from 1964 to 1971 he was the deputy mayor of Moers. From 1975 he was again a member of the Moers City Council. From 1946 he was a member of the public services, transport and traffic union.

From July 25, 1966 to May 28, 1980, Rudolf Erberich was a directly elected member of the 6th , 7th and 8th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 041 Moers I.
