Rudolf Hauer

Rudolf Hauer (born October 9, 1878 in Wels , Upper Austria ; † July 10, 1964 in Linz ) was an Austrian civil servant and politician ( GDVP ).

Life

Hauer joined the postal service in 1898 as an invoice trainee and remained loyal to his employer until his retirement in 1938, where he worked as a postal account auditor, senior postal inspector, account manager and councilor. Between 1918 and 1919 Hauer represented the Greater German People's Party as a member of the provisional state assembly . He was also chairman of the national association of state employees of Upper Austria and a committee member of the Upper Austrian association for natural history.
