He was a member of the German Party (DP) , the German Reich Party (DRP) and the National Democratic Party (NPD) , of which he was state chairman in West Berlin from 1967 to 1969. From 1981 to 1986 he was a member of the CDU Economic Council. In 1988 he became a member of the Republicans and in the 1989 election in Berlin moved into seventh place on the REP state list in the Berlin House of Representatives . Until he left the party in the 1990 election , he was a member of the REP parliamentary group in the House of Representatives and treasurer of the regional association.

In 1991 he was one of the founding members of the German League for People and Homeland (DLVH) and was elected one of three federal chairmen with equal rights. He was also a founding member and candidate for election of the “ Free Voting Community Die Nationalen ”.

He took over the VBR-Verlag (lecture-book-travel publishing company for political education), which had been founded by the Berlin Republicans, in which, among other things, the Berlin-Brandenburger Zeitung appeared.

Most recently he was chairman of the Hoffmann-von-Fallersleben-Bildungswerk , which was classified by the Berlin State Office for the Protection of the Constitution as a "right-wing extremist cover organization". From the headquarters of the HvFB in Berlin-Adlershof , he ran a "care and mediation company Kendzia and Partners". In 2003 he retired from all political organizations for reasons of age and stopped his professional activities as a business economist.
